BMW is spiritual. And that silence? Is certainly deafening.

BMW M3 GTS on Nurburgring, May 2010.
It needs a soundtrack title. Like 'Don't hold back in anger' or something like that. Appeals to both drivers and musicians :)
Caution: May cause heart to pound and may even stop. Also may result to sudden uncontrollable strong urges to well up from somewhere unidentifiable inside at gut-level in the mortal anatomy. Watch at your own discretion.

Automotive: Spy video of new ///M 1series.
Even at a long shot, you can appreciate the strong throaty volume of the ///M engineering at work. Rumour has it that it will be on display this year as a concept in the upcoming Geneva Motorshow. If I were the driver. I could do this all night.

BMW M3 GTS Part 1 and 2.
Part 1:
There is only thing which needs to stand out. All else can fade into monochrome in comparison. From world to dust.
Part 2:
Hear the beast growl at approximately 30s into the film. And feel it smokin' again at 2:12. Watching this is like watching a big budget explosive blockbuster drama complete with an originally orchestrated soundtrack (Die Hard number 48172192), unfolding on the big screen. It's only YouTube but it gives you that kind of awesome effect, you know! Those twin multi-spoke 'spider' rims are also very becoming. I'm all right, I'm all right 'cept for the colour. Remove the orange peel and let the ghostly non-coloured beast shines through. It's film like this that makes you wanna go shopping. Wonder if it comes in black.
But I'm kinda surprised that they shot this without a driver's helmet though. Hmm.

2010 BMW 740d.
I remember blogging about CAR UK's interview with Adrian van Hooydonk where Stephen Bayley commented how ugly the previous 7-series was.
But this new 740d with x-Drive and M-sport kit is something which I think BMW finally came back to the design philosophy of its family which they've (somehow) departed from.

3.0l, twin turbocharges putting forth 306 horsepower and 600Nm of torque that goes from 0-100km/h in 6.3s (whoa, considering the size), 19-inch wheel (optional 20) with quad-exhaust. Nice. Suddenly the 7-series driver doesn't look so old anymore.
It's strange that a lot of autobrands are revealing their 2010 models now. Maybe to spark some market anticipation in these dark times?
Hmm.

Light play. Like it but think it's a little too showy. It's crazy how you can use headlights to create 'expressions'. If our eyes are windows to the soul, I think this speaks a lot.
