Was at Nero Fico last night for dinner and jazz. Tokyo Blue is made up of bassist Hiroaki Maekawa, pianist Ywenna Carollin and ]oshua Maran and the best part is, they're Malaysian-based ;) This is one band that's really memorable for me because they are heavily influenced by Joe Hisaishi, who if you don't already know, is one of the world's most famous composers. Think Studio Ghibli and you get the idea ;) Here's something for you to enjoy. It's called 'Before Dawn', one of my favourites.
